Once again, too little, too late. US vacillation and prevarication has cost thousands of Ukrainian lives. Fifty ATACMS won't make a significant difference today. A year ago, they would have prevented the massive build-up of Russian defensive lines. The US calculation of seeing the war in Ukraine as a safe way to degrade Russian military capability regardless of the outcome was always inane; it's depressing to see that stupidity remains the go-to option even today when it ought to be clear that the stakes are far higher than the US originally understood.
