People in the West are ignorant - the news media doesn't see Ukraine as a way to boost ad revenues any more - and complacent, being more concerned about mindless entertainments and the McSlop they cram down their throats than any matter of existential importance. This is why Russia will ultimately defeat NATO, and why China will unopposed conquer Taiwan. By the time the flabby indolent West wakes up, it will be years too late. I weep for Ukraine, a country that deserved far better.
