People with an IQ larger than their shoe size often find it extremely difficult to imagine that a great many - and perhaps most - human beings use the 1.4kg of soft organ residing inside the skull primarily as ballast to stop the head from bobbing wildly whenever they manage to get up off the sofa and waddle uncomfortably toward the fridge or some other source of unhealthy calories.

People watch Fox because the presenters are careful always to use simple words, ideally nothing more than an endless repetition of mindless soundbites, and are equally careful to stick to a narrative that by sheer repetition alone has become familiar and thus the "truth" to the intellectually impoverished creatures who gawp helplessly at Fox for countless hours per day.

Goebbels said "a lie repeated one hundred times becomes the truth" but with our modern widescreen audiovisual technologies it's no longer necessary to repeat the lies that many times. Fox does so merely because they know they don't need to bother to invent new ones - their audience is happy just to chant and drool the age-old favorites until cardiovascular disease or Type II diabetes carries them off to the grave.
