Personally I believe people should always use clay tablets into which cuniform symbols have been pressed by a diligent scribe, prior to the tablet being baked by the sun. I was, barely, prepared to tolerate scribes copying illuminated manuscripts onto parchment bound in the finest leather but frankly these new-fangled technologies always disappoint in the end. And don’t get me started on the monstrosity created by that fraud Gutenberg! The day plebeians began to read as a matter of course was a dark day in the annals of true civilization.

(As you can tell from the above, book snobs are jejune johnny-cum-latelys to the game of being picky about the medium by means of which one acquires information….)
