Protesting For Putin
Why the so-called “anti-war” protestors agitating for “negotiations” are morally abhorrent and intellectually vacuous
As leading politicians from the West met in München to discuss how to be slightly less spineless in their support for Ukraine as it fights for its existence against a vastly larger and vastly better equipped aggressor, the usual halfwits waved their banners on the streets to protest against war and agitate for “negotiations.” Such “anti-war” demonstrations naturally took place in München but also as far afield as the USA where lefty-trendies briefly left their nice safe warm homes to wave a few placards and show off some home-made “meaningful” sculptures.
Some scream that “negotiations” should take precedence over actually doing anything to help Ukraine survive. Others use the age-old tactic of misdirection, pretending that Ukraine can’t be helped until some other worthy cause is first addressed. These are profoundly dishonest postures to take and one can’t help but feel more favorably inclined toward the small number of protestors who are unabashedly pro-Putin and don’t disguise in any way their desire to see Russia emerge as the Tyrant of Europe.
Most demonstrators, however, are imbeciles whose supposedly “moral” values are in fact disgraceful and completely…
