Sadly the Wallace incident was far from unusual. US political life has without exception been mired in corruption from the very beginning, which is why the USA lags other Western nations in every aspect of life. The riches go to the top, everyone else gets to be a good little serf. The Disney version of the USA is what everyone is fed and swallows without ever being aware it is simply one huge lie. Perhaps this US capacity to swallow endless lies is what made it so easy for the compulsive orange liar to win so easily last time round, and no doubt win even more easily this November.
