Seems we've been hearing this story for at least a year now. Like nuclear fusion, Russian collapse is always just in the future.... and will remain that way. We need to stop telling ourselves delusional self-soothing fairytales and accept the fact the West is too stupid, too spineless, and too complacent to be capable of defeating Russian aggression. Russia now has an economy and battle tactics that the West is unable to match, NATO is an empty joke, and the future is bleak. All because we were too stupid to face up to reality. So no, Russia is not a few months away from collapse. It is, at best, two years away from winning and three years from invading the Baltic nations.
