She seems to fit the general psychological profile of a convert: modest IQ, no strong sense of self, limited intellectual resources, eager for a simple framework within which she can feel that she has some sort of meaning. There are always people like this in the world, and there are always causes for them to find. They exist on the periphery, the flotsam and jetsam of history, quickly to be forgotten.
