Silly flabby over-indulged self-centric ignorant foolish people in the West are prone to the most inane intellectual errors because we are like overgrown children. After nearly 80 years of unbroken peace in Western Europe, the most difficult challenge most people face is what sort of slop to cram down their throats each evening. Consequently, mindless platitudes can seem "deep" merely because we are so shallow. It's pathetic, but humans have always been rather dim-witted.
