Thank Marsha for an important article. I’ve had passing acquaintance with a couple of MLMs and from the start recognized the business model as predatory. Unfortunately very few people seem to be capable or willing to perform even the most basic analysis necessary to show that the MLM model is non-viable for all but those at the apex of the pyramid. Thus many will continue to succumb to the lure of bogus promises. As P.T. Barnum said, “there’s one born every minute, and two around the corner to take him.”
