Thanks Adriana for a good summary of current data. One thing I've noticed over the years is that the way we frame things to ourselves can have a dramatic impact in terms of actual outcome. Lots of people seem to regard daily exercise as "a chore" and, not surprisingly, often fail to perform it. Conversely, regarding daily exercise as a gift one gives oneself makes it more likely that time will be spent performing physical activities rather than sitting slumped on the sofa watching some banal entertainment while claiming "I don't have enough time to exercise...."
