Thanks Camron for an interesting article. I remain puzzled why people habitually conflate crypto with blockchain. The former is necessary for the latter (at least for practical purposes) but the latter is in no way necessary for the former. As blockchain has well-documented problems with scaling to even very modest transaction rates (Bitcoin being famous for an architecture that precludes it ever exceeding 27 tps worldwide, and today manages a mere 3.2 tps) it seems odd to hitch one’s wagon to a technology that seems dead on arrival. Crypto, however, is a different matter entirely.
