Thanks for a thoughtful article. Milley is unfit even to watch someone else running a hotdog stand and it is astounding that the imbecile is still leading the Joint Chiefs. As for Ukraine, it's being forced to fight with both arms tied behind its back due to Western spinelessness and at this point any kind of meaningful victory is very uncertain. We've consistently dithered and prevaricated, providing far too little, far too late, while mindless journalists babble about HIMARS and Leopard II MBTs as if these were magic amulets. The war in Ukraine matters for the West, but the West is too stupid to realize it. So Putin's major advantage continues mostly undiminished.
