Thanks Geoff for an interesting article and I'm going to read the book in order to become more informed about the theory. At first glance, however, I can't help but note that with so many data points to choose from I could personally construct almost any set of geometric arrangements depending on my personal predilection. Unless the book surprises me, I can't help but think this is a classic example of seeing things that aren't really there: like shapes in clouds or patterns in the stars.
