Thanks Nancy for a well-nuanced article. It seems these days victim culture is highly profitable, so I don’t expect we’ll see an end to it soon. Online lynching is such a wholesome and popular sport it would be a shame to deprive people of the 21st century’s equivalent to having a nice day out at a public execution. The feeling of righteousness we enjoy when a witch or wizard is burned at the stake is really hard to beat.
