Thanks William for writing about this topic and bringing it to light, especially in such a factual manner. It has always disturbed me how easily we normalize the inhumane, and how easily we forget it afterward. Making people aware of history may, perhaps, go some way towards preventing its recurrence as the USA descends back into the dark places from whence it never fully emerged.
