The implicit assumption throughout the article is that watching porn is de facto always a bad thing to do. Yet a moment’s thought indicates that’s incorrect. Many people watch moderate amounts of porn with beneficial results both physical and mental (e.g. reduction of physical stress levels, and reduction of sexual neuroses). Just because a small percentage of people do have a porn problem (which in all likelihood is really another problem entirely, for which porn is a band-aid solution) doesn’t mean all porn watching is harmful. That’s like suggesting because a few people watch too much Netflix everyone should stop watching Netflix.
