The inventor of the shower curtain

Clearly lacked (of this I’m certain)

Any grasp of basic physics;

And thus it cloys and often sticks.

As the water cascades down

It creates low pressure all around;

Meanwhile on the other side

High pressure causes curtain glide.

And thus the plastic shroud appears

To have designs upon our rears,

Although it’s clearly not aware

Of the fact we’re wet and bare.

A better world would not have seen

Such a shoddy water-screen.

But we are doomed to feel it much

And must endure its clammy touch.
