A great many commentators ranging from bloggers to major publications like The Economist are busy chronicling Trump’s flurry of hate-filled globally-harmful idiocies as the infantile orange creature and his coterie of slithering enablers proceed to remove the last shreds of what was left of the USA.

But it’s all irrelevant.

Charting Trump’s moronic tweets and the implementation of policies guaranteed to destroy the entire Western world is like obsessing over the exact way in which the hull of the Titanic was bent and torn by the iceberg it collided with while also obsessively measuring precisely where the gelid water reached at every minute as the vessel sank beneath the waves. By focusing on the immediate and obvious yet ultimately irrelevant details, everyone seems determined to miss the bigger picture.

As I predicted when Biden narrowly beat Trump in 2020 by a mere 43,000 votes (due to the totally insane US Electoral College system, a candidate can win millions more votes than their opponent but still lose the election), Trump would not be a shameful and deeply embarrassing footnote in US history but instead would return in 2025 and usher in a dictatorship.
