The sad thing about the USA is that there's no good option. The Republican Party is a group of neo-fascist halfwits devoted to clinging onto power at any cost while praising the flabby infantile orange creature who represents all that is vile about human nature.

Meanwhile the Democratic Party is a bunch of squabbling school children whose grasp of economics is equivalent to the ability of earthworms to do partial differentiation. As the Dems talk up price controls and consider taxing unrealized capital gains, they seem not to grasp the fact that these policies were what made Venezuela such a powerful economy and prosperous nation.

All in all, it is impossible to parody the USA and equally impossible to hold out any hope for its future.
