Why there is one course of action that could salvage something from the collapse of the USA
Ah, if only humans had intelligence, what a different world we would inhabit. Alas, evolution did not equip us with much in the way of reasoning capability and so we live in a world of imbeciles, incompetents, spineless ditherers, and blustering charlatans — not to mention an over-supply of psychopaths and narcissists all eagerly trampling over their fellow humans in order to grab an ever-larger slice of the pie.
Trump is merely the latest and most obvious manifestation of the fact we have entirely failed to engineer an approach to governance that has any adequacy at all. And so seventy-seven million morons in the USA voted for a bloated mental cripple who, as he promised he would do during his election campaign, is now destroying what little remained of US credibility and capability. No one will ever trust the USA again and it’s about to undergo the fastest and most complete economic meltdown any large nation has ever inflicted on itself. Only banana despotisms in Central and South America have ever managed such total self-immolation, and never as quickly.
Even the grotesque incompetence and venality of the rulers of Zimbabwe, Chad, Congo, South Africa, and Mozambique weren’t able to destroy so much so quickly…
