The spinelessness and sheer stupidity of Western "leaders" continues to be the most depressing aspect of the war in Ukraine. NATO should eliminate all Russian military capacity and let Russia disintegrate into a bunch of small fiefdoms each ruled by some thuggish overlord who will be focused on asset-stripping as much as possible. Our absurd insistence that Ukraine maintains a hands-off posture for anything inside Russia is so mindless as to be beyond parody.
