The terrible thing about the Walmart statement is the underlying reality of the insane gun ownership laws in the USA. No civilized nation, or any nation vaguely aspiring to civilized values, would tolerate the mad “right to bear arms” nonsense that far too many US citizens seem to believe is a Divine Right rather than a poorly-worded Amendment that was only ever intended for a particular moment in history.
