The USA has a long list of closet celebrities, of whom Rock Hudson was also very notable. It's great that we (for the moment at least) live in a world where in some places (Europe, the thin slivers of coastline on either side of the USA) people are now more relaxed about sexuality - and, not by accident - far less inclined to partake of the neurotic rantings embedded in primitive mythologies masquerading as repositories of "moral values."
