The USA is finished. The fact one of the two major Parties in the USA (the Republicans) has decided to sacrifice the nation in order to gain power means there is no way back. Trump will always be an infantile moron, but the GoP has ensured that his successor will be the last genuinely elected President. Fortunately, using Rome as a guide, the new dictators will retain some vestiges and claim it's a new, better, "yuge" democracy - the only true democracy, in fact. We should all start practicing Nazi-style salutes because they'll soon be mandatory.
