The wonderful thing about people who sign up as true believers of whatever cult happens to be transiently fashionable is that they are incapable of dealing with reality. Denial is so much easier. Which means the Muskies will lose their shirts, and frankly they deserve to do so. Living in fantasy-land and praising one's god gives people a sense of belonging and a sense of meaning; they simply pay a very high price when reality eventually triumphs, as it always does. But cultists never believe it until they're consumed in the flames.
