There will be no war between Russia and NATO for the very simple reason that a war requires not one but two belligerents. NATO is an empty shell. When Putin orders his troops to invade the Baltic nations, NATO will do nothing. Let's look at some facts: when Putin ordered his twin invasions of Ukraine in 2014 NATO did nothing despite both the UK and the USA being signatories to a treaty whereby they were bound to preserve Ukraine's territorial integrity. Likewise when Russia invaded Ukraine again in 2022 the UK and the USA (NATO members both) did absolutely nothing. More recently, Russian jets have (i) fired a live Fox3 at a UK fighter jet and (ii) strafed a UK frigate and each time NATO did nothing. Twice now Russian missiles have violated Polish airspace and NATO has done nothing. NATO is excellent at this business of doing nothing and it's because political leadership is non-existent. This total lack of leadership will not be rectified but in fact will get worse. The USA is now an irrelevant joke, and European NATO members have zero capacity to do anything to resist Russia. And so, when Putin invades the Baltic nations NATO will continue to do what it does best: nothing at all. This is why there will be no war between Russia and NATO. Russia will simply walk in and take what it wants, while the vermin Trump and the equally verminous US Republican Party cheers him on.
