Very good article indeed. People want everything without consequences. Fat-free mayonnaise. Cakes that have no calories. Sweet-tasting junk that has no sugar. Cupcakes devoid of gluten. It’s a bizarre insight into First World mentality, a world in which it’s assumed we should have whatever we want and never have to suffer for our appetites regardless of how dysfunctional they are. Meatless meat is merely the latest and by no means the least stupid of a long series of utterly infantile food products aimed at people who have zero idea of what nutrition their bodies require and zero idea of the real-world costs of producing what they consume.
