This article parrots the uninformed opinions of journalists who haven't bothered to consult standard Russian military doctrine. Plans taken from a captured Russian staff officer in southern Ukraine several days ago show clearly that the Russian invasion plan is proceeding more or less on track and on time. Furthermore, Ukrainian resistance, though commendable, is entirely futile. Russian doctrine stresses the encirclement of cities followed by massive bombardment in order to inflict maximum civilian casualties and thereby not only degrade any remaining defenses but to destroy civilian morale.

In reality, Western inaction has ensured Putin's victory, after which he will install a thuggish puppet regime loyal purely to him, as he's already done in the other territories he's invaded in the past.

It helps, when writing about the invasion of Ukraine, to have studied at least some of the many documents regarding core Russian military doctrine, rather than listening to excitable ignorant Western journalists.
