This is an hilariously stupid article. As somone who's worked and traveled in Russia (and speaks Russian) and has several Russian friends, I can attest that precisely no one in Russia aside from Putin and a few of his fellow fascist nut-jobs cared about NATO expansion in the slightest. Most Russians under the age of 50 wanted to be more and more integrated into the West and certainly never saw it as an existential threat. Nor does the notion that Russians believe in the same mythology as Hindus have any bearing in reality.

Whatever it is this author is smoking, it clearly is powerful enough to obscure reality entirely and substitute into its place a pathetic mashup of Krelmin propaganda and Hindu nationalism.

Very sad indeed.
