This is the best news I've heard with regards to VC activities in many years. For more than two decades I've been pushing the idea that the "Sydney or the bush" approach of classic VC firms is non-functional, a product of mindset rather than rational analysis. Excellent to see at least one firm basing its investment decisions on solid fundamentals rather than on illusion, hype, and wishful thinking.
