This is the most sensible article on making healthy lifestyle choices I’ve read in ages. Doubtless you’ll get plenty of responses from people telling you why eating correctly and exercising “can’t” work for them, but of course that’s inevitable in our “nobody is to blame for their own poor choices” world. In reality you’re absolutely correct on every single point. For myself, at 61, I’ve followed the same approach my entire life and I can still out-hike, out-run, out-last most people half my age despite having had an atrociously unhealthy childhood (alcoholic smoker parents, poor nutrition until I was old enough to buy my own food). It really is personal choice and dedication; everything else is just excuses.
