Timeline To The End Of The Western World
How major geopolitical events are highly likely to unfold over the remains of this decade
For readers who’ve not previously encountered any of my articles, I should explain why I have the audacity to predict the major geopolitical events of the next few years. I’m not an intelligence analyst nor a political historian. I’m certainly not a journalist paid to manufacture a constant stream of misleading sensationalism in order to generate adequate revenues for whatever organization they work for. I do, however, have a rather credible track record in making accurate predictions while all the supposedly “smart money” is betting on some other outcome that then fails to eventuate because of what seem to me to be extremely obvious reasons.
To take just a few examples: (i) I predicted Brexit when all the clever people were busy explaining why no one would ever be so stupid as to flush the UK down the toilet in exchange for two vacuous soundbites; (ii) I predicted in 2015 that Trump would become President at the next election when all the clever people were still laughing at him because he’s so obviously a moron; (ii) after Biden narrowly squeaked to victory in 2020 I predicted Trump would win in 2024 when all the smart people were saying he was finished as a political entity and I also predicted Biden would waste his entire four years in office, and (iv) I predicted the West would fail to aid Ukraine in expelling the Russian invaders and would ultimately abandon Ukraine to its fate. On the technology side I also predicted why blockchain was always going to be a solution to precisely zero meaningful corporate problems and why cryptocurrencies would always remain merely speculative bubbles except for when they’re used to enable ultra-high-margin criminal activities for which the gyrations in valuation are less significant.
Oh, I also predicted prior to Trump’s first impeachment trial that the Republicans would always vote to acquit Trump regardless of overwhelming evidence of his guilt, that Trump would return to power and quickly de facto remove the USA from NATO, and that he’d also abandon Taiwan to the Chinese Communist Party.
