War Is Not Coming To Europe

Why there won’t be a war between European nations and expansionist Imperial Russia

These days, opinion in Europe on the subject of war with Russia seems to split into two basic positions. Most Europeans are, like most people everywhere, empty-headed and ignorant and so they cannot see the blindingly obvious until it runs over them — and even then, most will still fail to comprehend the situation. Therefore, most Europeans are not even considering the possibility that Russia will attack, despite the fact Russia is waging war right on the EU’s doorstep and several EU leaders are so pro-Putin that merely grovelling before him would by comparison seem to be an act of defiance. Hungary’s would-be-Fuhrer Orban is merely the most obvious of this breed of odious little vermin.

The few Europeans who recognize the existential threat still fondly imagine that some remnant of NATO will, at the eleventh hour and fifty-ninth minute, muster some vague albeit totally pointless attempt to resist Russian troops as they pour into the Baltic nations as part of Putin’s continued expansionism.

The reality is more prosaic. There will be no war between European nations and Russia.
