What an astonishingly naive headline. Perhaps the author is unaware of the fact that the Russian Army detachment that committed all the well-documented atrocities against unarmed civilians in Bucha received medals from Putin at a well-publicized awards ceremony. Perhaps the author simply can't comprehend how atrocities are an intentional part of Russian aggression, just as Hitler's Nazis intentionally had groups of rapists and murderers follow its troops during Operation Barbarossa, so as to crush the spirit of Russian citizens in general. Intentional atrocities are always part of war when fascist regimes are involved. Franco's rabble were just the same. Perhaps the author should read a little more widely.
