What's interesting for me is to see the way in which we habituate to supernormal stimuli, and therefore advertisers et al have to increase the stimulus necessary to maintain our attraction. So bodybuilders get larger, enhanced mammaries grow to become the size of basketballs, heels become higher, penis implants become girthier, hair transplants become more luxurious, facelifts become ever-more extreme, and liposuction continues to be the go-to for over-indulging pizza lovers. Now that CAS12a is available, we can soon expect to see genetic modifications used as a means of further exaggeration. So by 2100, assuming our benighted species survives that long, we will see 165cm women with 200cm busts, 25com waists, and pupils so wide they have to adopt nocturnal lifestyles. Men will be 300cm tall, have genitalia so large that skateboards will be necessary, and all will have blue eyes. The one change no one will ever bother to make is to increase IQ...
