While anyone capable of rudimentary reasoning can deduce that yes, the Apollo astronauts really did land on the Moon, it’s also true that conspiracy theorists won’t be persuaded by any real-world evidence. My favorite quotation is: “You can’t reason someone out of a belief they didn’t reason themselves into.” Conspiracy theorists aren’t suffering from an information deficit, but rather from a cognitive dysfunction that results in emotional and psychological deficits. Perhaps therapy could help some; information is unlikely to aid any.
