While I deplore the mindlessness of our seemingly endless coronapanic, I also deplore nonsensical arguments in general. The author seems to imply that unless a vaccine is 100% effective, it is illegitimate. This means 100% of vaccines must be considered so, because no vaccine is 100% effective. So the argument is spurious.
Next is the emotive language, the inevitable comparisons with concentration camps, etc. - all designed to gloss over the fact the argument is weak.
Here's the sad thing: we should NOT be acting as if only vaccines can confer immunity. Vaccines work by stimulating the immune system to recognize an invader and generate antibodies to attack it. This is precisely what happens when a person becomes infected by the pathogen itself. And as WHO data shows that between 80% - 93% of infected people show no symptoms at all, it's clear that there is a significant possibility to acquire at least partial immunity through natural infection as well as through vaccination.
This is the real reason why vaccine passports are such a terrible idea - they get the basic science wrong. All other arguments against vaccine passports are silly and fatally undermine the only rational objection possible.
