While I very much wish it was the case that "no one is immune to logic" every single study on this topic has shown the reverse. The problem is simple: when a human hears something they tend to believe it if it is presented by a purported authority figure. Neural connections are established. These cannot be un-connected. In general, when people subsequently are exposed to incontrovertible facts that contradict their belief, they simply ignore the facts and double-down on the false belief because this requires less cognitive effort. The only way we know of to get past this fundamental mechanism is to devastate the person emotionally, which seems to create the opportunity for more powerful neural connections to be made. This is what happened to most Japanese people and to most German people at the end of WWII - but even here we see it was only partially effective. The truth is that all of today's Russians will likely to go their graves believing in "Ukrainian nazis" and "NATO transgender pedophiles" pose an "existential threat" to Mother Russia against which the Great Tzar Putin is defending them.
