While it is no doubt charming to become excited about some new promise of a somewhat useful weapon system, we need to keep reality firmly in mind. The realities pertinent here are: (i) Germany has a long history of promising things and then taking many months or years to actually deliver them; and (ii) the problem for Ukraine is that ammunition is scarce. NATO had woefully inadequate stockpiles prior to Putin's invasion and Western manufacturing can't produce anything close to what is needed. As a result, "shell starvation" limits the utility of the 155mm artillery because if you have few rounds to fire then the equipment itself is relatively useless except to make nice photos to post on the Internet.
