While Tesla will no doubt continue to sell cars to the same sort of people who think buying iCrap products makes them "cool" the reality is that the company's share price is ludicrous and will come crashing down at some point this decade simply because Tesla is not a real car company. The volumes it can produce, and its quality control, are simply not up to par. It's infinitely easier for a large automobile maker to make electric cars at scale than for Tesla to scale up to become a real automobile manufacturer. No doubt the brand name may be worth something to GM or VW or Ford at some point, however...
