While the Russian military is clearly a very bad joke, it's far too early to claim that Ukraine is going to "win" - especially when the word is entirely undefined. We need to remember that the West is running out of materiel to supply to Ukraine, and flabby self-indulgent Western voters are taking to the streets to demand "peace" in Ukraine (e.g. capitulation and appeasement to Russia) because they don't want to pay more for their utilities and can't imagine that fighting Putin is an existential task for all of Europe. Appeasement is always popular and could easily result in Russia holding on to whatever it can retain over the coming winter and then, slowly but surely, rebuilding its capacity to fight again.
It's important not to be swayed by the ignorant sensationalist babbling of Western journalists but instead to look realistically at the wider picture. This wider picture makes it clear that Putin is very far from losing the conflict.
