Why Dithering Loses Wars
How Western spinelessness and abject stupidity handed Ukraine to Russia and thereby led the world to war
According to sensation-mongering Western journalists, each new weapon system delivered to Ukraine is a “game changer” that will crush Russian forces and enable Ukraine to drive the invaders out of Ukrainian territory. And yet, for some inexplicable reason (at least, reasons unexplained by babbling journalists who don’t want to contradict their own sensationalist narrative) the new weapon system arrives and… nothing much changes.
Why is this?
To understand the problem, we need to understand what all NATO weapon systems are designed to do.
Even today, the vast bulk of equipment in the arsenals of NATO member states was either designed during, or heavily influenced by, the Cold War. The Soviet Union mass-produced equipment that wasn’t as good as NATO equipment but was delivered in far larger quantities. Thus NATO planners were focused on the likely threat of a mass armored assault supported by massed aircraft and followed by hundreds of thousands of Warsaw Pact troops aiming to punch straight through NATO defenses (which were feeble) in order to crush opposition and reach the French city of Lyon within nine days.
